It is an honour to extend my birthday wishes to the Wollondilly residents who have reached milestone birthdays. Celebrating a century, I was delighted to join veteran Mr Raymond Robinson of Thirlmere as he turned 100 on the 12th December. Another centenarian is Mr Philip 'Pip' Harding Smith of Bowral, who turned 100 on the 17th December 2023. Mr Charles Alfred Beurle of Bowral recently turned 90 on the 9th January. Embracing a centuries worth of memories, Mrs Betty Kopetko of Thirlmere turns 100 on the 5th February. There must be something in the water in the beautiful Southern Highlands town of Bowral, as we also have Mrs Ivy Challinor of Bowral incredibly turning 105 on the 13th February and I'm getting in early to congratulate Mrs Elaine Jennings, also of Bowral, turning 100 on the 16th March. As we celebrate these remarkable individuals let us reflect on the depth of their experiences, and the profound impact they've had on their families and loved ones.
