I am pleased to speak about the Dilly Business Breakfast in Wollondilly hosted by R U OK? to support mental wellbeing in our community. More than 20 local organisations and businesses gathered to offer support, strategies and resources to local workers and enterprises. The event was not just a networking opportunity but also a hub for invaluable life skills. Handouts curated by the council educated attendees on how to approach conversations about mental health. Lifeline Macarthur, Business Wollondilly, Rotary Club of Picton and other noteworthy groups were on hand to share their expertise. This breakfast served as a vital platform to address mental health, especially among workers who are the backbone of the local community. The event was facilitated by the Picton Chamber of Commerce, the Rapid Relief Team, my office and the Wollondilly Shire Council. Attendees were encouraged to make a gold coin donation in support. I extend my appreciation to all organisers, participants and community members who made the event a success.
