Pharmacist Bruce Dugan began his career in pharmacy an impressive 73 years ago in 1951. Starting as an apprentice in Tenterfield, NSW this was followed by studies at Sydney University. He has since served the communities of Blacktown, for 55 years, then Marulan, Goulburn, Crookwell, Yass, Queanbeyan and finally Bowral where he has made a lasting impression on the residents of the Southern Highlands. Bruce has touched the lives of many with his warm nature and friendly conversation.
Known for his optimism and kindness, Bruce says “What a wonderful life I have had in all these years in all these communities. Met thousands of wonderful people whom I will never forget.” He adds “from my experience in nurturing many young interns from all over the world, "pharmacy" is in good hands today and will continue to serve the public to the best of our ability!”
A true example of a modern day gentleman, his exemplary customer service and expertise is renowned in the Highlands. Good luck Bruce getting anywhere in a hurry - you will be stopped in the street by so many former customers who miss their regular chats with you.
