That this House:
(1) Recognises the commitment of $48 million to help establish a new National Park along the Georges River between Long Point and Appin for Koala protection committed by the Government.
(2) Notes the Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan (CPCP) has not been reviewed since 2021, which forced biodiversity mapping onto private lands to allow development in Wollondilly.
(3) Calls on the Government to be consistent and ensure the CPCP protects koala habitats and is not just a vehicle to allow mass developments.
