"Rail Time Tabling and Rolling Stock.
That this House:
(1) Notes the aging status of the diesel trains that service the Southern Highlands, mixed with the inadequate frequency of services that run on the line, have resulted in no viable public transport alternative for Wollondilly and Southern Highlands residents.
(2) Notes that new rolling stock is needed today for the Southern Highlands line and should result in an increase in services and frequency.
(3) Notes that there is a need for a timetable review for the Southern Highlands Line that should coincide with the roll out of the new rolling stock."
