An inspiring evening honouring the everyday angels among us, our first responders and community volunteers. To celebrate all our unsung heroes, our angels, our volunteers. From RFS, SES, Fire & Rescue, NSW Police, paramedics, nurses, and health workers to the Red Cross, Rotary, the CWA and beyond, these are the people who show up when it matters most. Funds raised by Angels in Our Town, a registered charity, will support trauma recovery, wellness programs for first responders, Green Shoots of Hope, and the 2025 Grand Street Parade and Family Concert, shining a light on those who keep us safe, supported, and strong. It was a wonderful evening connecting with a heartfelt and dedicated group, all united in support of our community heroes. To the extraordinary Antoinette Sampson — visionary Founder of Angels in Our Town, the Board of Directors and the many hardworking committees who spent nine months planning this inaugural event, you have created something truly special to recognise those who serve our community with quiet strength and compassion.
