“Highlights for the budget are the New High School and Primary School at Wilton will be getting over $43 Million over the next 12 months. The Bowral Hospital Upgrade will be finalised and we’ll see new buses on our streets connecting Wilton to Campbelltown and the new Western Sydney Airport.”
“There is also Toll relief for everyone, funding for the completion of the classroom walls at Picton High School, Bowral High School funding for the High Potential Gifted Education Partner Program, more funding for regional freight that will improve our own services in the future and planning for the new rail network that will connect our region to the Airport.”

- New High School at Wilton, $24,625,000 spent in 2025 and a further $22,578,000 in 2025-26
- New Primary School at Wilton, $4,844,000 spent in 2025 and a further $21,951,000 in 2025-26
- $16.4 Million over four years for Planning for the Picton Bypass that would provide an alternative route for heavy vehicles by linking Thirlmere and Tahmoor with the Hume Motorway via Picton Road (NSW and Australian Government funded). $5,225,000 spent to date and a further $4,938,000 for 2025-26.
- $79.2 Million Continuing planning the upgrade of Picton Road to improve safety and connectivity as a key link for the Illawarra Region, South Coast, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne (NSW and Australian Government funded). $45,530,000 spent to date, $24,852,000 in 2025-26.
- Warragamba Dam Upgrade, Reliance, Environmental Flow and Pipeline Upgrade. Combined total spent to date $2,015,632,000 with a $68,367,000 for 2025-26.
- Completion of the Bowral and District Hospital Redevelopment Stage 2, total cost of $55 Million, $43,751,000 spent to date and a further $11,249,000 in 2025-26.

- Picton High School conversion of open plan classrooms to traditional classrooms
- $313.8 Million Delivering new bus services which will connect Wilton, Liverpool, Penrith and Campbelltown to the Western Sydney International Airport and Bradfield City Centre (NSW and Australian Government funded).
- $390.1 Million over four years for Sydney Water sewer upgrade Greater Macarthur Growth Area - Wilton and Bingara, Estimated total program cost $714.3 Million. $76,985,000 spent to date and a further $196,039,000 for 2025-26.
Achievements for our region
- $63.3 Million Planning for the South West Sydney Roads program which will identify critical road upgrades needed to support growth areas including the Greater Macarthur, South West Sydney and Wilton (NSW and Australian Government funded).
- $24.7 Million Planning for priority roads which form part of the Western Sydney Airport Precinct Road Network. This will improve access to new jobs and housing in the Aerotropolis (NSW and Australian Government funded).
- $138.0 million for Appin Road Upgrades (NSW and Australian Government funded).
- $105.5 million for Western Sydney Long Term Strategic Transport Corridor Preservation.
- $843.1 Million for Delivering a modern Regional Rail Fleet to replace the ageing XPT, XPLORER and Endeavour trains and improve travel.
- $31.8 Million for Western Sydney Freight Line and Intermodal Terminal (Planning and Development) (State and Federal Funded).
- $2.5 Million for a new service centre will be opened in Campbelltown to provide greater access in the Macarthur region to government services through the Service NSW network.
Other items:
- Panorama in the Wilton Growth Area will set a new benchmark for sustainability and be the first Landcom development to achieve a 6 Star Green Star Communities rating. The area will provide around 5,600 homes, of which 10 per cent will be affordable housing.
- $200 in toll relief given with the toll gap claim.
