The Appin Wheels Festival, held last at Appin Public School, was a roaring success, attracting around 3,000 attendees and showcasing 200 cars and bikes. Now in its fifth year, the event was the largest to date. Organised by the school's P&C, the festival has evolved into more than a fundraiser; it's become an invaluable community event. The festival came alive with the rock 'n' roll vibes of Rust Storm, who performed a gripping set from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Children and adults alike enjoyed a range of activities, from face painting and temporary tattoos to rides and show bags. Raffles offered fabulous prizes, making the event even more exciting. Market stalls provided a variety of merchandise, from car accessories to handmade gifts and clothing. Food trucks served a delicious spread that included everything from burgers and barbecues to doughnuts and slushies. The event not only entertained but also strengthened the community spirit, proving once again why it's a can't-miss event in the Appin community calendar.
