On 24 November 2024, I was delighted to attend the Bong Bong Picnic Races, and I extend congratulations to the Bong Bong Picnic Race Club for putting on such a fantastic day. Wherever I looked, there were endless happy people.
There were six races and warmest congratulations to the winners - Wayne Wheatley rode Grande Bellezza to victory in the Ashbourne Maiden Plate, Todd Bailey rode Oakeys Choice to victory in the Gubbins Pulbrook Mitre 10 Class 2 Handicap, Leandro Ribeiro rode Kennedy Choice to victory in the Sew & Sew Wines Open Handicap, Wayne Wheatley rode Seacore to victory in the Equicom Equine Therapy and Life Skills Class 1 and Maiden Plate, Wayne Wheatley rode Arancione to victory in the K J Scaffolding Bong Bong Cup, and Emily Waters rode King Tat to victory in the Third I Group Class B Handicap. Congratulations also to the winning trainers: Fabio Martino, Luke Musson, Kristen Buchanan, Brett Lazzarini, Mark Gee, Rodney Northam and Andrew Jenkyn.
Congratulations to all the owners and support staff who had wins and places at the Bong Bong Picnic Races. The efforts and dedication of the Club made this sold-out event a truly enjoyable experience.
