8th August, 2025.
July saw the annual changeover of the formidable Bowral‑Mittagong Rotary Club, and the release of their 2025 annual report. Authored by outgoing president Bob Miller, the report details the impressive long list of projects that the hardworking Rotary club has been working on over the last 12 months. These include local projects the Model United Nations, Science and Engineering Challenge and Discovery Day, Bowral Cycle Classic, District 9705 Annual Conference. Bong Bong Cup, Tulip Time and Interact and Fit4Life at Bowral High School. Rotary Bowral-Mittagong has also been established as the Australian importer and distributor of Shelterbags for the Homeless. I welcome the incoming president Robbie Allen who will lead the club for the next year. Robbie has been an active member of Rotary for many years and like Bob before her, is poised to continue to facilitate the achievements and successes of the club. The 2025 changeover was a chance for members to reflect on the past year, and acknowledge the generosity and efforts of the club in working tirelessly for the betterment of their community and others. I am proud to acknowledge the Bowral-Mittagong Rotary Club and wish them a very successful future.
