It's official – the brand new Colo Vale Playground is open! Perfectly placed next to the Heritage Loop Line Station (set to reopen next year), this wonderful new play space is a fantastic spot for families and visitors. Just across from the much-loved Colo Vale Community Hall, it is set to become a real gathering point for locals and a drawcard for visitors. Well done to Wingecarribee Shire Council staff for creating such a fantastic railway-themed park. I know the Colo Vale community and local families will love it. I was pleased to celebrate the opening with Carol Berry MP, Federal Member for Whitlam, Wingecarribee Deputy Mayor Erin Foley, Cr. Duffy, Cr. Farrell and Wingecarribee Shire Council staff. Congratulations to those representatives of the Colo Vale Community Association, Transport for New South Wales Heritage Rail and the enthusiastic young people, school Captains from the Colo Vale Public School who were there to officially cut the ribbon. Another wonderful community asset.
