Community Recognition - Community Links Wellbeing

11th November, 2026.

In 2025 Community Links Wellbeing is celebrating 40 years of service. Community Links truly changes lives, with inclusion, integrity, resilience and respect at its heart and through services including youth services, family support, mental health support, parenting education, speech pathology, occupational therapy, carer support, community playgroup, kids' garden club and mental health connections. The small, locally based community organisation has managed to thrive through the challenges and changes of the past 40 years. One of the main reasons for this success is the strong sense of community that underpins everything it does. Its achievements are a reflection of the dedicated team, supported by community members, partners, volunteers, staff and the funding bodies who believe in its ability to deliver what our community needs. A special mention goes to Greg Duffy and Larry Whipper, who both celebrated their twentieth anniversaries with the organisation in recent years. I also thank the strong and diverse board. From humble beginnings, the organisation has continued to grow, remaining true to its name.
