What a vibrant and colourful musical atmosphere it was at the Cultural Connections Multicultural Festival in Wilton on the 15th of June. Organised by Wollondilly Shire Council the day was a huge success, with performances, music, dancing and food stalls transforming Hannaford Oval into a hub of cultural exchange. Organised by the Wollondilly Shire Council, the day was a resounding success, with performances, music, dancing, and food stalls creating a festive atmosphere. The centre stage was the heart of the festival, showcasing incredible performances that highlighted the rich cultural diversity of the community. MC Wendy White led the event with enthusiasm, and the Wollondilly Knights Senior AFL Club match also happening on the day drew a large crowd to the Oval. I'd like to recognise the efforts of the hardworking team at Wollondilly Shire Council for their work orchestrating such a fantastic event. Thanks to all the wonderful performers and participants who shared their talents, making the Cultural Connections Multicultural Festival a joyous and memorable celebration of the many cultures that call Wollondillly home.
