On 30th April 2025 I joined the family and friends of the late Graham Noyes of Menangle to bid him farewell in a moving memorial service. Graham’s wife Dorothy was present along with his son and daughter, and members of the Menangle RFS. Graham was born 12th March 1930 and celebrated his 95th birthday last month at Durham Green Village where he resided.
Graham was a committed and cherished member of the Menangle RFS, and his calm and steady presence was a reassurance to others during challenging times. Having joined in his 70’s, Graham’s energy and commitment was admired by those he volunteered alongside. Graham was also a keen runner and athlete, and he was a part of the Menangle Community Action Group, using his voice to bring attention to matters that concerned the community.
Graham lived his life with integrity, and his humble sense of duty, warmth and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Graham.
