Community Recognition - Jacqueline Wilson

I am pleased to recognise Jacqueline Wilson, who was nominated for the Young Citizen of the Year award as part of the 2025 Australia Day celebrations. Jacqueline demonstrates exceptional dedication and drive, standing out as a hardworking and inspiring individual. Her strong commitment to community service is evident through her extensive volunteer work with the NSW Rural Fire Service. In addition to her volunteer efforts, Jacqueline remains actively involved in sport, playing rugby league and serving on the committee of the Camden Rams RLFC. She manages these responsibilities while also providing care for her parents and grandmother, showing remarkable compassion and resilience. Jacqueline's nomination reflects her achievements which span both academic and civic fields. Jacqueline consistently displays leadership, creativity, and a forward-thinking approach in all she undertakes. Her selfless contributions and ability to balance multiple commitments reflect a deep sense of responsibility and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in Wollondilly.
