I would like to congratulate Jo Deshto for her recent accolade, where she was recognised with the Rotary Clubs of Macarthur 2025 First Responders Awards.
Jo was proudly recognised as the runner-up in the NSW SES category at the awards—a well-deserved honour for someone who has become an essential part of the NSW SES Wollondilly Unit. Over the past four years, Jo has served as the unit’s Logistics Coordinator, playing a crucial role in keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. Jo’s attention to detail and dedication have made a significant impact on the unit’s preparedness and effectiveness, and her contribution is deeply valued and respected. She is the kind of volunteer who not only gets the job done but lifts the entire team in the process.
