She has a special connection with the more timid hounds, offering them calm reassurance and helping them build trust. Her dedication extends beyond the dogs — she is always ready to support fellow volunteers and shift leaders, taking on any task with a positive attitude and quiet determination. Joanne brings warmth, kindness, and a can-do spirit that makes working alongside her a pleasure. Her ability to connect with the dogs, especially those needing extra care, is truly heartwarming. She never seeks recognition, and her selfless contributions and compassionate approach make her an outstanding nominee. Her work reflects the very essence of community spirit and kindness.
