Community Recognition - Lisa Vidler

For 25 years, Lisa has been a volunteer physical culture teacher and mentor with Picton Physical Culture Club. Each week, Lisa dedicates countless hours teaching, mentoring and empowering women and girls of all ages. She consistently gives her time, energy and expertise to ensure every member feels valued, capable and supported. Throughout her time at Picton Physical Culture Club, Lisa has grown the club to over 75 members. She has coached teams and individuals to numerous competition successes, and provided unwavering support during challenging times. Lisa's leadership extends far beyond weekly classes. Lisa has built a community grounded in confidence, resilience, friendship and sportsmanship. Her impact reaches well beyond sport - Lisa fosters life skills, nurturing young leaders through the Teen "Physie crew" and the cadet program. Lisa has a proven ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for women, building a connected community in Wollondilly. In addition to work with Picton Physical Culture Club Lisa's nomination for Wollondilly Citizen of the Year - Sportsperson category acknowledges Lisa's commitments to the Picton Physie and Association Level over the past 25 years makes her an exceptional nominee deserving of recognition.
