It was great to drop by the football clinic held on Monday 16 December 2024 at Tahmoor Public School. The Macarthur Football Association delivers the Bulls in Schools football program, a NSW State Government funded program, to primary schools throughout the Greater Macarthur region and Wollondilly. It is a fun, engaging, football (soccer) program, which encourages participation and skill development for children. Perhaps we will find the next Sam Kerr or the next Craig Foster at one of these clinics.
The program on that Monday was delivered by Hayden Tonna, the community football development manager of the Macarthur Bulls, as well as Club players. The Macarthur FC Bulls in Schools program is targeted to students in years 3 to 6 and is provided at no cost to the school. I encourage the schools of the Wollondilly electorate to get active and get involved in the program.
