Thank you to residents of Nattai, Oakdale, The Oaks, Mt Hunter, Hill Top, Colo Vale and Renwick for making the first week of my mobile office a resounding success. With an electorate so large, and so many people living such busy lives, it has always been a challenge for some people to make it to my office. This is why I am taking my Mobile Electorate Office on the road, so I can hear about concerns, queries, or ideas from the Wollondilly local community in their own towns and villages. I was touched by the efforts people made to stop by. One of the highlights was hearing from some polite and engaging year 5 and 6 kids in Colo Vale, who were riding their bikes past and stopped for a chat. They offered some great ideas on what is needed in the area for younger teens. I am so grateful for their insight, and indeed for all the people who stopped by for a cuppa, including local business people. Thank you to all residents who came and connected with me, for working together for the betterment of our beautiful area.
