Olivia Romano has been nominated for the Wingecarribee Young Citizen of the Year Award in the 2026 Wingecarribee Shire Council Australia Day Awards. Olivia has demonstrated her compassion and dedication to her community from a young age, being involved in many community groups and teams including horse riding and dancing. Olivia is a skilled photographer, volunteers her time to capture community events such as Festival of Lights, helping to capture significant community moments. Olivia is a regular volunteer also with the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens Park Run, a weekly run event which encourages people to be active, to have fun and to connect with others through running. Her selfless nature is reflected in the work she does at Argyle Housing in Bowral, where she goes above and beyond to ensure that people feel connected and valued.
