Community Recognition - Picton & District Agricultural, Horticultural and Industrial Society Show

11th November, 2025.

This year's Picton & District Agricultural, Horticultural and Industrial Society Show, celebrating its 84th anniversary, has been absolutely outstanding. With rural living at its heart, it truly showcases the spirit, skill and pride of our local community. A huge congratulations to the Picton A.H and I Society Inc. Committee and all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to deliver such a successful event. There's been something for everyone, from equestrian and poultry competitions to bull riding, sheep and cattle, wildlife encounters, the Major Pavilion Awards, open classes, art, floral displays, produce, cookery, handicrafts, needlework, fleece, and the AgShows NSW competitions for woollen garments and quilted patchwork. The creativity and community spirit on display were exceptional, from baking, jam making, photography and LEGO to the much-loved Scarecrow Competition. A special mention to the CWA Picton for their delicious morning tea and lunch, the scones, soup and sandwiches were simply wonderful. Thank you also to everyone who judged, competed, and supported the events, from the wood chop and bull riding to the fireworks and Sunday ute show. What an incredible effort by all involved. Celebrating community, tradition and unforgettable moments.
