Community Recognition - Picton Rotary Pride of Workmanship Awards 2025

5th August 2025.

Recently I had the pleasure of attending the Rotary Club of Picton NSW Pride of Workmanship Awards Dinner, a fantastic evening celebrating nine outstanding local employees who were recognised for their dedication, professionalism, and contribution to their workplaces and the broader Wollondilly community. These awards are a powerful reminder of the value in recognising individuals who consistently go above and beyond in their roles. Each recipient was nominated by their employer in recognition of their strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence. Congratulations to this year's deserving awardees: Anthony Fiegler of Wollondilly Shire Council, Tiahna Juffermans of Vaby's Restaurant, Cynthia Riordan of RSL Lifecare / John Goodlet Manor, Neil Doyle of JJ Performance Smash Repairs, Teneile Crooks of Iconix Hair Salon, Nicole Peters of Gelder Peters Law, Damien Silm of Cedar Creek Distributors, Benjamin Forst of Movement Therapy Pty Ltd and Emily Bell of The District Reporter. Rotary Club of Picton President Geoff Cannon described the awards as an opportunity to publicly thank individuals for their teamwork, professionalism, and pride in their work. The evening was a true celebration of the spirit of local enterprise.
