Renee Fitzsimmons was awarded the Sportsperson of the Year Award at the Wollondilly Australia Day ceremony this year. Renee is a deserving recipient, taking her health and fitness knowledge and experience beyond her business by running a free walking group, encouraging physical fitness and mental health through the connection and motivation the group provides. Renee owns and operates Raw Courage Transformation based in Wilton, to the community and has studied cert 3 & 4 in fitness and is currently studying Exercise Science at the University of Wollongong. Renee is a dedicated mother of 3 boys, and impressively placed second in the World Fitness Federation international body building show in the "Sport model" category. Renee contributes to supporting our aging community through her work in imparting nutrition and exercise education and guidance. Renee sets an exemplary example for her clients and walking group members of all ages, through her care and professionalism.
