Robert 'Bob' Fairly has been community minded all his life and suitably has been awarded the 2026 Lifetime Service Award for his contribution to Wollondilly. Bob has been involved in a wide range of volunteer roles spanning many decades, including chief cattle Steward at the Picton Show, Captain on Picton Volunteer Fire Brigade, Master of Picton Masonic Lodge, President of Picton High School P and C Association, President of St Mark Church REST Committee, President of Picton Rotary, where he has been a member since 1988. Picton Rotary was proud to nominate Bob in recognition of the outstanding contributions and commitment he has made to the organisation and to the Wollondilly community. Bob has twice been awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship, a Rotary International Award, reflecting the impact of Bob's efforts within the organisation to improve the lives of those around him and his local area. Bob has set an outstanding example of what can be achieved through hard work, and his considerate and generous nature makes him a very deserving recipient of this award.
