Sharon Koster has provided outstanding leadership and service to the 1st Mittagong Scout Group over the past five years, guiding the Group through a period of significant growth and development. Through her dedication, vision, and commitment to Scouting, she has helped create a strong, successful, and welcoming environment where young people and families feel valued, supported, and encouraged to participate in adventurous activities and meaningful community experiences. Sharon has played a vital role in mentoring and developing young leaders within the Group. She has actively supported leaders through their training pathways and encouraged participation in adventurous activity qualifications, helping build leadership capability and confidence across the Group. Her willingness to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support has had a lasting impact on many emerging leaders. In addition to her mentoring role, Sharon has provided exceptional support, advice, and direction to the Group's leadership team, helping ensure stability, growth, and positive outcomes for youth members and families. Under her leadership, the 1st Mittagong Scout Group has become a strong force for good within the local community, recognised for its inclusive culture, adventurous program, and positive contribution to the development of young people through Scouting.
