Mrs JUDY HANNAN (Wollondilly) (20:05): Sacred Heart Day at Chevalier College coincided with the school's eightieth anniversary and was an opportunity to reflect on the values that sit at the heart of this remarkable school. This year's theme, "Open the Door to the MSC Core", invited students, staff members, families and alumni to deepen their understanding of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart and the enduring values of faith, compassion, courage, belonging and service. I congratulate Mrs Jennifer Lisle on being presented the Sacre Coeur award, the teaching staff members on being recognised for their excellence and dedication to educating and supporting young people, and the school community on its generous support of St Vincent de Paul's Winter Appeal. As the college looks ahead to the future, Sacred Heart Day reminds us that the strength of Chevalier lies not only in its proud history but also in the people who continue to live the values of the Sacred Heart every day.
