Community Recognition Statement - Picton Swim Club

Picton Swim Club had a hugely successful 2025‑26 season. The highlights of the season included Addison Barnes picking up numerous medals, ribbons and qualifying times at metro and senior State championships. Lachlan Crawhall qualified in December at the senior State championships, with numerous top 10 finishes. Mia Ferry went through her school representative pathway and came sixth in New South Wales to qualify her for the School Sport Australian aquathlon championships. Billy Crawhall, Darcie McLeod, Lachlan Morris, Joe Rebelo and Dakota Craig will take part in the NSW Youth State Age Championships. At the 2026 Australian Age Swimming Championships in April, Addison Barnes will compete in the 50-metre breaststroke, 100-metre breaststroke, 200-metre breaststroke and 200-metre individual medley events, while Lachlan Crawhall will compete in the 50-metre freestyle event. At the 2026 School Sport Australian Aquathlon Championships, Mia Ferry will compete in the sprint aquathlon, which combines a 300‑metre swim and 1.2-kilometre run. Addison, Lachlan and Mia are fantastic role models in the community. Other notable achievements include results at the Metro South West Championships. Billy Crawhall won Gold,Silver & Bronze and Dakota Craig qualified for Youth State after winning a silver and two bronze medals.
