Each year the St. Jude's Music Association presents the Bowral Autumn Music Festival held at the historic St. Jude's Church in Bowral. Six exquisite chamber music concerts and three pre-concert discussions featured some of Australia's finest artists including Trio Kin, Ironwood Ensemble, Naxos Quartet, Emily Sun, Trio Henri and more. The Repertoire included works by Schubert, Britten, Bach, Bernstein, Rachmaninoff and several others, alongside the special world premiere of Piano Trio No. 2 by Australian music icon, Ross Edwards. There is always an energy in Bowral during those four days - a sense that music is not merely performed but shared and celebrated together. This festival is an annual highlight on the cultural calendar of the Southern Highlands and delighted lovers of chamber music, and those who enjoy supporting Australian artists in a beautiful regional setting.
