29th May, 2025.
Thank you to the NSW State Emergency Service units in our Wollondilly electorate and across NSW, saving lives, and creating safer communities.
Wear Orange Wednesday on May 21st is a day to acknowledge the dedicated NSW SES volunteers who are always there when communities need them most. I proudly wore orange to show my support and invite you to join us in recognising the vital work of our SES volunteers across New South Wales, not just on Wear Orange Wednesday, but all throughout the year.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the NSW SES. Over the last 70 years, NSW SES members have responded to some of the state’s most significant natural disasters. It’s an important time to reflect on the service of our members, but also to look forward by continuing to serve our communities in their times of need.
I feel reassured and always a bit safer knowing that I was ever in need the dedicated and skilled Wollondilly SES units would be there to help. Thank you for your great work.
