The Annual NSW Vinnies Community Sleepout in the Southern Highlands was a powerful reminder of the compassion and commitment within our community. St Vincent de Paul Society has long been a pillar of support for those experiencing hardship, assisting people across NSW with food, clothing, household bills, advocacy, and emotional support. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Bowral‑Mittagong and their initiative in providing Shelterbags, a practical, roll-up sleeping system that offers warmth, dignity, and protection from the elements to those in need. Special thanks also goes to Kelly from Vinnies NSW for coordinating the event, Solange Frost, Regional Director, for her leadership and the entire Vinnies team for their dedication. Held at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School, Bowral, the event was supported by the RAPID Relief Team Wollondilly, who provided hot meals. A beautiful vocal and guitar performance added warmth and spirit to an evening of shared purpose and community care.
