Community Recognition Statements - NSW Local Sports Grants Announcement

Six local sporting organisations across the Southern Highlands and Wollondilly have secured a combined $50,000 in the latest round of the NSW Government's Local Sport Grant Program. Highlands Golf Club received the largest allocation of $20,000, while Southern Highlands Water Polo secured $13,900. Other successful clubs include Wollondilly Knights Senior AFC was granted $5,000; Wollondilly Basketball Association was granted $4,100; Loop Line Pony Club was granted $4,000 and Mittagong Cricket Club was granted $3,000. Sport plays a vital role in bringing communities together and supporting health and wellbeing. Behind every local club is a hard-working team of volunteers, families, players and officials who give their time to keep community sport going.
