Community Recognition Statements - Razorback Olive Grove and Jonima Flowers

27th May, 2026.

I acknowledge the excellence of two local businesses who faced competition from a number of entrants at this year's Camden Show Awards. Wollondilly Electorate has a proud rural history and has outstanding rural enterprises. I congratulate John and Ingrid Padavono - Jonima Flowers from the Bargo/Yanderra area for winning first place in the Excellence in Agriculture Group - Rural and Agriculture Class #103. Jonima Flowers is a family-owned, third-generation flower farm located in Yanderra, New South Wales. Managed by Ingrid and John Padovano, the 25-acre farm grows over 100 varieties of seasonal, sustainable blooms and foliage. I have personally visited the extensive flower farm and their flower shed. Also, I recognise Danny and Aydin Fahri who manage Razorback Olive Grove, on their win. Razorback Olive Grove is a self-sufficient hobby farm based near Picton, NSW, specialising in handcrafted Mediterranean-style produce. While the farm itself is known for holding occasional events like cheese-making courses, their products are most widely available at local farmers' markets across the Macarthur and Illawarra regions. This local business won first place in the Excellence In Agriculture Award First Class #102 Award at the Camden Show 2026.
