On 18 March, I welcomed local student school leaders Grace Campbell and Heidi Kull from Bowral High School and Emily Wilson and Ava Lamour from Chevalier College to Parliament House. The students represented themselves at the day visit and joined over a hundred other secondary student leaders from other schools across the state. The program which is run by the Parliamentary Education & Engagement team recognises the school leadership role of students, including Chevalier College and Bowral High School. The four young ladies had an opportunity to meet their elected representative and to develop their knowledge of constitutional and parliamentary processes. I thank Ava, Emily, Heidi and Grace for visiting Parliament and genuinely hope the experience has inspired you to see yourselves as future leaders in your community.
