A room filled with friendship, community spirit and celebration marked the Southern Highlands VIEW Club's remarkable fiftieth anniversary celebration last week. Doug Taylor, CEO of the Smith Family and a long-time resident of Bowral, attended the milestone event alongside members and guests from VIEW clubs across the region, including Picton, Campbelltown and Macarthur Evening. I thank past and present members for joining us to celebrate such a special day. Across Australia, members continue to harness the power of local connections to create lasting change for students, supporting the Smith Family and demonstrating the extraordinary impact that community, compassion and commitment can achieve together. Members continue to play a vital role in this success through fundraising, volunteering and advocacy. Most importantly, I thank all VIEW club members, past and present. They made the club what it is today. Their friendship, support and dedication are the heart of the Southern Highlands VIEW Club.
