9th September 2025.
This week, I had the pleasure of meeting with Pastor Clayton Ryan from Tahmoor Baptist Church to learn more about their new initiative, Community Cuppa. This welcoming fortnightly morning tea offers an inclusive space for members of the community to gather, connect, and enjoy meaningful conversation over a warm beverage. Held every second Wednesday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, Community Cuppa is open to all, free of charge. Attendees are invited to participate in light activities such as games or knitting, or simply enjoy the company of others in a relaxed and friendly environment. The initiative also caters to families, with toys available for young children. Pastor Ryan and the team at Tahmoor Baptist Church are to be commended for their commitment to fostering social connection and wellbeing within our local community. Initiatives like Community Cuppa play a vital role in reducing isolation and strengthening the bonds that make Wollondilly such a caring and resilient place to live. I encourage residents to take part in this wonderful program and experience the warmth and hospitality it offers.
