It was a great honour to present Mr. Terence and Mrs. Joan Irvine of Bowral with one of my special Parliamentary certificates in recognition of their remarkable 70th wedding anniversary. I was also there to deliver letters of congratulations from the Governor of New South Wales, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Greg Piper MP, and the Premier of NSW, the Hon. Chris Minns. Seventy years of marriage is an incredible milestone, a true testament to their enduring love, commitment, and partnership. I extend my warmest wishes for their upcoming celebration with family and friends, and I wish them many more years filled with joy, love, and continued good health. May they also enjoy countless rounds of golf together, a hobby they both cherish. It was a pleasure visiting with them, and we were all especially impressed by the stunning bearded Irises blooming in the Irvine's beautiful garden. Their green thumb and passion for gardening are just as inspiring as their lifelong bond. Here's to many more years of happiness and wonderful moments together.
