A love of learning was on full display at the numerous primary school end of year presentations that I was honoured to attend late last year.
The highlight for me at The Oaks PS was the school choir’s uplifting performance, and hearing that they had been spreading joy across our community during this festive season by performing at BlueGum Lifestyle Resort in Thirlmere and Queen Victoria Aged Care Home in Picton. At Cawdor PS, a small school located in a rural community, I offered my congratulations to the students for their commitment and the remarkable accomplishments they have achieved in their learning and personal development throughout 2024.
At Tahmoor PS the room buzzed with pride and joy as proud parents, guardians, grandparents, and friends celebrated the students. There was plenty of cheering and joy, highlighting the fantastic year these students experienced. Thank you to Buxton Public School for inviting me this afternoon to celebrate with parents, carers, teachers, staff, and the wonderful Year 6 students as they mark the end of their primary school journey.
Thank you to the hardworking teaching staff who have helped pupils of all Wollondilly schools to thrive.
