I would like to congratulate William Morris for his recent accolade, where he was recognised with the Rotary Clubs of Macarthur 2025 First Responders Awards.
Station Captain William Morris is equally deserving of his award, a Highly Commended in the Fire and Rescue NSW category. He has been a member of the Picton Fire Station since 2008 and Station Captain since 2014. He is highly respected among his peers and ensures that his knowledge and experience is shared through his mentoring of other members.
William was instrumental in the station's recent upgrade, overseeing the introduction of a state-of-the-art light bushfire tanker which will enhance the crew's effectiveness in responding to emergencies. William’s leadership ensures that his team is equipped with the best tools to serve the community. His commitment to excellence and community safety exemplifies the qualities recognized by the Rotary Clubs of Macarthur First Responders Awards. Congratulations William.
