It was a pleasure to join the Wollondilly Knights Senior AFL Club at Hannaford Oval, Wilton, for their Big Freeze community round—an inspiring initiative raising awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease [MND]. The club's commitment to supporting the Fight MND Foundation reflects the strength and compassion of our local sporting community. The men's team took to the field against Inner West, while the women's match, won by forfeit. The atmosphere was vibrant, with supporters, families, and players united in purpose. A highlight of the day was the Ice Bucket Challenge, where brave participants took the plunge to show solidarity with those affected by MND. Events like these not only raise vital funds but also foster community connection and awareness. Congratulations to the Wollondilly Knights and all involved for hosting a meaningful and memorable event.
