Wingecarribee Shire Council recently hosted the launch of Earth Flix: Cinema 4 Change, an initiative of their 'Sustainable Us' program. Marking a significant step towards environmental awareness and community engagement, this initiative offers the opportunity for environmental education and inspiration throughout the year. Wingecarribee Council is committed to taking urgent action on climate change, and these screenings offer a unique opportunity for people to connect with each other and to consider the implications of the messages for their immediate surroundings. It received funding from the Australian Government and the NSW Government's Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund. Followed by a Q&A session to explore the films, attendees can deepen their understanding of environmental issues while fostering community dialogue and collaboration. Earth Flix represents a collaborative effort to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship within the community and offers inspiration for positive change.
