CYCLEWAY FOR BURRADOO STATION DELIVERED BY JUDY HANNAN MP

15 March 2024

$49,483 has been allocated as part of the NSW Government’s Local Small Commitment Allocation (LSCA) Program.

“Many of the outlying villages of Wollondilly and the Southern Highlands have been forgotten by political parties for far too long.”

“I was very pleased to support Wingecarribee Council’s submission to extend the existing Cycleway network especially for the village of Burradoo which has a pathway network that does not connect to the train station.”

“The funds will be used to extend the cycleway in Burradoo by an additional 60 metres, thereby facilitating better access to Burradoo Railway Station. The work will involve the construction of a kerb ramp, carrying out earthworks, and potentially adjusting utilities.”

“Normally project funding like these go to larger centres and love to see submissions from across my electorate that give to communities that have received little for so long.”

The LSCA Program is a $37.2 million grants program, managed by the NSW Government, that will

deliver $400,000 to each of the 93 NSW electorates, providing benefits to local communities and

councils through a range of capital works, services and programs, events, supplies and equipment,

charitable donations, and playground and park upgrades.
