Welcoming the strong showing of residents from Wollondilly, Judy Hannan MP today wished our olympians well as they travel from our Shire to go for gold in Paris.

The French Olympic organising committee has chosen a single emblem, joining the teams between the non-disabled and para athletes and shared between men and women. This Olympics comes at a time with a world divided among many lines, I truly hope this moment can be one to share and learn together”
“I am very pleased to share the news of a number of athletes chosen for the Olympic team who call Wollondilly home.
“Representing us at his fourth Olympics Shane Rose of Werombi will again be on the global Equestrian stage. Joining him in her inaugural Olympics Hilary Scoot of The Oaks will be competing in the Show Jumping. We will also be honoured to have Joshua Azzopardi of Theresa Park who will be competing in the Athletics in the 4 x 100m Relay.
