Member for Wollondilly Judy Hannan MP today welcomed news Landcom’s partnering with South West Community Transport to provide a new bus service in North Wilton to support the community.
The service will be launched this coming Monday. Buses will run between North Wilton and Macarthur train station 6am-7pm, seven days a week. There will be a minimum of 2 buses operating daily, with 3 allocated in total.
Current capacity of each vehicle is 22pax and a shuttle service will run between North Wilton and Picton during non-peak hours.
“This is a fantastic initiative by Landcom and really shows what a developer can do to support the new community that is moving in as well as the residents who have lived in Wollondilly and have seen it grow”
“More often than not developments have come to Wollondilly with no infrastructure and only promises that are never fulfilled. The new bus services I hope will be the start of a new public infrastructure investment that will connect our beautiful towns and villages.”
“The initial timetables and allocations are draft and I understand Landcom will be looking at further investments as the North Wilton community grows, a fantastic outcome for Wollondilly.”

Updated Details as of 8 June 2025
“Do I have to be a resident of Panorama to use the buses?
You don't – while new bus stops are located within Panorama, buses will serve passengers no matter where you live.
Our service is available to be used by residents living throughout Wilton, although future arrangements are subject to change.

Please note: after listening to community feedback, buses will also pick up and drop off passengers on Fairway Drive and Pembroke Parade at existing bus stops.”
I imagine that most have a common-sense understanding of the initiative, but if anyone has further questions or concerns you are welcome to forward their details to me for a callback or share my email. I’ll explain a version of the below and help with practical queries about using the service.
The buses are a partnership with SWCT fully funded by the developer of Panorama (Landcom). The reason we are not servicing a wider area is because we are paying for the service as part of our development – it is not an official Transport for NSW service.
As we welcome our first residents this year, we want to support the gradual growth of North Wilton. We recognise that public transport contributes to healthy, happy communities.
These daily free buses can cater for hundreds of passengers a day. Although our aim in funding them is to support our new community in Panorama, they are available for anyone to use, regardless of where they live.
