That this House:
(1) Notes the bipartisan election commitment for $1 billion to purchase land for a rail link from the new airport to Campbelltown does not include funds for tracks, trains or even planes.
(2) Calls on the New South Wales political parties to commit the electrified link to the existing Southern Highlands line and bring more reliable public transport and electrification to the Wollondilly electorate that is providing the housing that New South Wales needs.
