(1) Thanks all Councillors for their service who are not standing for election again this year and wish them well for the future.
(2) Notes the 29 years service and retirement of my friend emeritus Mayor Michael Banasik and wishes him well on his bottle collecting future.
(3) Wishes all candidates, particularly real independent candidates, the best of success for 14 September 2024.
