Veolia Mulwaree Trust has awarded several grants to organisations in Wollondilly. The projects were selected for their contributions to the community and include the Wollondilly Shire Council as a recipient of major project funding of $9,203 for their Reflection Walk Seating Project. Small project funding was awarded to Balmoral Village Association Inc for the tennis club house air conditioner, Wollondilly Shire Council for the Wollondilly Waste to Art Regional Tour, St Luke's Anglican Church The Oaks for a Portable Sun/Weather Shelter, Mittagong Netball Club for a Training and Accreditation Program, and Highlands Soccer Association for a New PA System for Highlands FC. Grants such as these allow organisations and community groups to continue to give back to the community. So many, like the aforementioned, owe their success and viability to volunteers contributing their time, skills and efforts for the greater good. These groups deserve our thanks and recognition for the difference they make in the lives of so many, offering the chance to build connections and enhance local communities.
